At Rinkov Eyecare Center, we fit over 30 types of contact lenses. Unlike many of the chains, the doctors fit the lens that is right for the patient, not what the corporate office says to fit. We use a corneal topographer. This is the same instrument used in laser refractive surgery. It precisely measures the curvature of the entire cornea in 8000 points, prior to fitting our patients. This is instead of an instrument called a keratometer, which measures only 4 points in the central 3 mm of the cornea. This allows us additional data to select the perfect lens for our patients. Consequently, we specialize in fitting the "hard to fit" patients. We fit both soft and gas permeable lenses, including lenses for astigmatism, and bifocals, all at very competitive fees. Dry, Burning Eyes With Contacts?
Say goodbye to these problems with Acuvue Oasys or B&L Pure Vision contact lenses. These lenses supply unparalleled comfort with advanced technology to provide a high level of oxygen to the eyes and have been treated to provide moisture retention to create a wetter, more comfortable lens.
Oasys is available in single vision only and approved for 6 nights of continuous wear. Pure Vision is available in single vision, bifocal, and correction for astigmatism and is approved for up to 30 nights of consecutive wear. Of course, just because they are approved for overnight use does not automatically mean that anyone can sleep in these lenses. They must be monitored professionally. New Night & Day Lenses
Approved for 30 nights of consecutive wear. These revolutionary soft lenses allow almost 7 times the amount of air to the eye than the current disposable lenses.
These are ideal for people who really want to sleep in their lenses. In clinical studies, there is virtually no sign of any edema, or swelling, which occurs to some degree with the current extended wear lenses. These are replaced monthly. Try before you buy! As with all of our contacts, we will carefully evaluate your eyes with the lenses on, have you wear them for a week, and then see if they are comfortable and proper for you, prior to ordering the supply of lenses for you.
Daily Disposable
These are the most convenient and trouble-free lenses. There are no hassles. Just put the lenses on in the morning, then remove and throw them away in the evening. Put on a new pair in the morning. There are NO solutions. The hidden cost of solutions makes these lenses very affordable and perhaps even less than other lenses. Combine this with a $40 - $80 rebate and it costs less than $1.00 per day.
